Two Old Hippies
It's not often that a massive flagship lifestyle brand is born overnight, but in the case of Two Old Hippies, it happened almost that fast. A labor of love for Tom and Molly Bedell, Two Old Hippies is a modern embodiment of the hippie spirit, translating that passion to a range of clothing, accessories, home decor and various guitar brands. Measure took on the challenge of infusing their brand with the mantra of "Peace, Love and Rock 'n' Roll," and taking Two Old Hippies from 0 to 60. We built their image across an extensive array of platforms including identity, marketing, product design, package design, posters, an intense web presence with online store, a flagship catalogue and even a Volkswagen bus.
Bedell Guitars
A new brand with an old soul. Measure collaborated with Tom Bedell to relaunch a successful guitar brand he had started in the 1960s as a teenager. The messaging and visual direction of the Bedell brand was inspired by the brand's origin and its founder's life-long passion for rock 'n' roll, using that to tell the story of how this history led to the production of some of the best and most artfully crafted guitars available today. Measure helped build that story into every consumer touchpoint, from the identity to marketing collateral, online store, packaging, the design of the guitar's headstock and even the delicate inlays on the instruments themselves.

Slowly losing a branding battle with larger national bridal chains, Schaffer's came to Measure to develop a richer and more consistent connection with their audience. As part of a holistic visual brand exercise, Measure developed a unique voice for the brand and translated it across a range of applications including an identity system, stationary, internal communications, website, e-newsletter, signage, advertising and apparel.
Parents Toys
Parents magazine is one of the most trusted authorities on children. With an already successful line of toys, Parents enlisted Measure's help in redesigning a packaging system that would resonate with consumers. Our solution integrated fun colors, a signature pattern and adorable pictures of children in a refreshingly clean packaging system that helped the toys stand out in the aisles of Target stores coast to coast.
418 Liberty
An office building-turn-condominium development, 418 Liberty needed branding to sway potential buyers toward urban living in a market dominated by suburban sprawl. Using vibrant colors, bold graphics and active visuals to describe the energy and convenience of living downtown, our branding inspired buyers through the identity, sales office, collateral and website. Informative graphics of unit plans and city maps were used to assist the sales team with describing the condominiums and the neighborhood features.
Confluence
Like the disciplines of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, the Confluence identity is a blend of natural and mechanical, with a bold but grounded color palette, crisp typography, and a system of quasi-natural textures and imagery that bring everything together.
Great Divide Guitars
The sister company of Bedell Guitars, Great Divide Guitars are quality instruments at an affordable price. Measure drew inspiration from the freedom and beauty of the West to build a brand that appeals to the unchained artist whose guitar is ready when inspiration strikes—wherever that might be.
